Viña Casa Marin: Chile’s First Woman-Led Winery

Chile’s boutique winery Casa Marin has managed to gain popularity among locals, Americans, and Europeans.

CHILE — Viña Casa Marin was founded by María Luz Marin. When she first began pursuing her dreams, she was called crazy. Casa Marin was the first vineyard founded by a woman in Chile and despite all the disbelief she traveled to Europe to show the world what they had been missing.

The boutique winery gained popularity overseas, and the vineyard continues to export 90% of their delicious Pinot Noirs and Sauvignon Blancs. The vineyard continues to remain the only winery founded by a woman to this day.

Viña Casa Marin stands out because of the vineyard’s unique location, Lo Abarca, and the vineyard has created an amazing relationship between the community and the company.
