Stress Less

I remember the night before the SATs. That was probably the single worst test of my life. I am not kidding. I could not eat. I could not sleep. I was hysterical, but that was typical for me. I went through half of my life being anxious about everything and anything job or school related.

My dad used to say if me and my brother were one person we would be much more sane. I care about everything and a lot of times he can’t be bothered about anything. I currently watching him study in front of Sunday Football.

My brother Eric however is a successful third year law student, so there is definitely a method to this madness. I added 1/4 cup of his “I don’t care attitude” to my “I care too much,” and it proved to help get me past the frantic test taker days.

How you make ask have a transformed my self into a semi put together college student and intern you may ask? Well when times get tough there’s nothing better than taking a break. Whether you want to do some yoga or pet a puppy give yourself time to clear your mind and breathe. Remember it’s just 1/4 of “I don’t care.”
